I have a 2-car garage with RV parking on the side and a yuge driveway. I want MOAR.

I foresee that problem in my future, so I think I’m shooting straight for large barn/shop thing. Plus a regular 2 car garage for good measure, also enough property for other things to sit outside. Someday.....yknow, if I ever get myself trained in something that pays well.

We bought our current house only a year and a half ago, but wife wants to move to the same town as her sister/brother/parents. I told her the only way you’ll get me to move in the near future is to find a place with a 2 car garage and a shop, minimum.

Yeah. Street parking sucks. Couple times a week I’ll get home and some jerk has unwittingly parked in (one of) my spot(s). I once had to park a block away and carry a three-day trip’s worth of stuff that distance into my house.

Oh yeah, that happens at least once a week. It’s a very packed block for parking, and they just added a fire hydrant between my place and the lot next door, so yay, even less parking.

I live in a tourist trap. Free parking is free parking, no matter where it is. I’m lucky in that there’s no houses across the street, otherwise I really wouldn’t have anywhere to park. All the houses on my street are multi-unit or bunkhouse sorts of rentals, meaning there are tons of people with cars around here one per person is likely difficult enough, let alone me having three...
